As I am still new to the world of blogging I feel like I am playing catch-up with all the events and seminars that take place for bloggers to participate in. Alt Summit was held a few weeks ago and really would have been wonderful to attend. I really like the idea of hearing fellow bloggers speak about all aspects of this community and feel like I would have learned a lot. Well, all is not lost! Thanks to Eileen at A Creative Day, I am now aware of Alt Channel - a virtual classroom that offers daily online seminars in a variety of different topics to help us bloggers better hone our skills.
I am looking forward to participating and have signed up for tomorrow's class on Building Readership, so I'll let you all know how it goes. Anyone want to participate with me?
How cool is that - I've never heard of it. This is something I'll have to check out
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of it but it sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI would love to! What time is it at?
ReplyDeleteThe seminar is at 11am PST. Registration is still open through the link above - would be awesome to participate together!
DeleteMy day is completely filled up... but I would loved to have joined you (virtually!). Especially on building readership!!
ReplyDeleteI know, totally last minute. Will let you know how it goes and maybe there is another one that works for both our schedules and we can participate together? Good luck on your busy day!
Deletehow interesting. thanks for sharing. i think its a great idea to have bloggers come together and share. often perceived as a lonely or individual sport, blogging is truly part of a greater community. im taking a look at the links now. thanks! -Kat
ReplyDeleteKaterina it was really worth it. The seminar was very informative and there was great discussion going on with other bloggers before, during and after. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in getting a little more insight into the world of blogging!
