In light of my post at the beginning of the week on this amazing stair hall I came across in Nice (see post here), I thought I would continue with this subject and share some of my favorite staircases.
I am fascinated at how architecture and design push something as simple as the transition from one level to another into a work of art. Whether they are made of plaster, wood, metal, concrete or any other material I love the simplicity of their form and the creativity that design firms use when pushing the boundaries in their execution.

Fantastic staircases. I am thinking Father Christmas needs to bring me a new staircase for Christmas after seeing these! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThe staircase in Nice was already awesome, but these are just amazing! The John Merkl & Yabu Pushelberg staircases intrigue me the most as I love the combination with wood. This lead me to other designs I have found done by Eestairs, they have particularly cool spiral staircases you should have a look. Great post, both the last one and this one!
