Furniture Fridays

It's Furniture Fridays time again (cannot believe another week has gone by!!), and today I am excited to have Jessica from the incredible The Aestate with us to share her favorite piece.  The Aestate has been  on my blogroll since the beginning and is a staple for my routine reads.   Jessica has a great eye for design and her posts are always inspiring, informative and entertaining and I invite you all to help me welcome her here this week.

I had a really hard time narrowing down just one favorite piece of furniture (especially after the great picks made by other bloggers in this series!) But I finally settled on the X-Bench. It's a classic. This is one of those pieces you're still going to love years down the line. They come in so many different styles and endless upholstery options. They're also extremely functional and versatile. An X-Bench can be a side table, a place to kick up your feet; or extra, portable seating while entertaining.

I don't have one myself, yet, but I'd love to get a pair upholstered in some hot pink velvet like this vintage one:
