We all know that the brass trend is upon us, and I say welcome! There is something truly beautiful about the patina that unlaquered brass develops over time so when I came across this article in Dwell magazine I was in heaven. This Brooklyn family home has been detailed and designed to perfection with brushed brass accents pulling the project together throughout. With rough floors and exposed brick walls the architectural features really hold true to Brooklyn and what people hope for. The furniture is a mix of industrial and modernist pieces and the bespoke wooden slab on the kitchen countertop really helps to warm the space. I really love the simplicity of the colour and material palette, and this is a great example that less doesn't alway mean minimalistic, but rather considered.
i am such a sucker for anything brass right now. and i am heartbroken that it fits nowhere in my home :/ that brass sink is blowing me away!
